Why Captain's?
Named After the Cat Who Runs the Ship
Captain’s Spice Co. is named after Captain, our 3 year old Maine Coon with big paws, a huge personality, and a firm belief that he runs the house.
And honestly, he does.
He claims every chair, judges every decision, and somehow always looks like he’s in charge. So when it came time to name the brand, there was only one choice. Captain isn’t just our cat, he’s the captain of the ship.
We started Captain’s Spice Co. to bring bold Cantonese / British Take Out style salt and pepper flavor into home kitchens, hand-mixed in small batches here in Arizona.
